A narrated retrospective of Christmas films from the the silent era to the mid-90's.

This cartoon, featuring a running-gag throughout of a John Barrymore caricature being mobbed by fan for an autograph, is a burlesqued tour of Hollywood. The narrator conducts a tourist tour all around the town of Hollywood Boulvevard, Malibu Beach, Santa Anita Race Track, the Brown Derby, and Grauman's Chinese theatre.

Take Hollywood, a city where anything is possible, toss in Gil - a zealous, mildly neurotic go-getter and sprinkle them both with Nora - a self-proclaimed know-it-all; and you have the perfect recipe for “A Hollywood Affair.“

Murphy ("Just Jesse the Jack") is a mega-famous canine TV star who is fed up with being treated like a 'cashmachine' by Hollywood executives. He escapes and a group of loving kids save him.

Just as Christmas in Hollywood is starting to look glum, three darling pets discover an opportunity to make some extra money by entering a singing contest. Cuz, Dude and Rosie must battle the streets of Hollywood to make their way to the contest, in hopes of winning the $1,000 first prize.

During the war, a hick soldier bursts into song at every turn.

The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) caused a great impression on the lives of most of the American artists of that era, so many movies were made in Hollywood about it. The final defeat of the Spanish Republic left an open wound in the hearts of those who sympathized with its cause. The eventful life of screenwriter Alvah Bessie (1904-1985), one of the Hollywood Ten, serves to analyze this sadness, the tragedy of Spain and its consequences.
